Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent with 2–5 years of sales or clinical support in healthcare.
• 2–5 years of documented medical device sales experience in hospitals/ASCs/OBLs or 4+ years in B2B sales.
• Aptitude to analyze and evaluate complex devices; strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contacts, visits and educates clients and potential clients on Abbott products.
• Builds and executes business plans to identify and develop new accounts.
• Provides medical professionals with information, training, and in-services on Abbott products.
• Ensures patient information is completed and forwarded to tracing when required.
• Manages inventory within territory and monitors sales statistics.
• Analyses sales data, prepares reports, and performs administrative duties.
• May attend trade shows and conferences to discuss product developments.
• Remains current on developments in field of expertise.
• Relieves or resolves problems to prevent recurrence.
• Maintains and grows new/existing business.
