Job summary

Registry Partners is seeking experienced Cardiac Registry Professionals for Cath PCI, Chest Pain MI, and TVT registries. The Data Abstractor II will work remotely, abstracting data and handling registry operations per project guidelines.

Role emphasizes adherence to quality management, productivity targets, and collaboration with management for project goals. Strong detail orientation and independent work are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year current abstraction experience in the registry; required.
• Knowledge of at least one additional NCDR registry preferred.
• Proficient in data abstraction manuals, data abstraction software and EMR applications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and/or Google products.
• Exposure to quality improvement concepts preferred.
• RN, RHIA/RHIT, CPHQ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follows the project parameter/roadmap and data abstraction manuals for each project.
• Stays current on abstraction requirements and specifications.
• Consults QA resources as needed and with Registry Partners teams for questions.
• Participates in registry operations tasks following SOPs.
• Meets defined Quality Standards after acclimating to a new project.
• Meets Productivity Standards within four weeks for each case type.
• Meets Productivity Standards for registry operations tasks per project.
