Job summary

Registry Partners is seeking a part-time Data Abstractor II to work remotely. The role focuses on ICD registry data abstraction and adherence to project roadmaps, with accountability for productivity and quality across assigned cases.

Ideal candidates bring 1+ year of abstraction experience, strong communication and documentation skills, and familiarity with EMR systems and registry manuals. RN/RHIA/RHIT/CPHQ credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one-year current abstraction experience in the ACC EP Device ICD Registry.
• Proficient in clinical registry data abstraction manuals, software systems and EMR apps.
• Knowledge of other NCDR registries (CathPCI, CPMI, TVT, LAAO) preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and independence.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google products.

Responsibilities

• Follow project parameters and roadmap; apply data abstraction rules accurately.
• Stay current on abstraction requirements and specifications.
• Consult QA resources and Registry Partners teams for questions.
• Participate in other registry operations tasks as assigned.
• Meet defined quality standards after onboarding to a project.
• Meet productivity standards for registry tasks within four weeks.
