Job summary

EdgeRunner AI is seeking a proactive Business Development Specialist to join our capture and proposals efforts in the US. You’ll work directly with the VP of Growth and our GTM team to win federal opportunities and coordinate the proposal process.

You will monitor opportunities on SAM.gov and FPDS, research customers, maintain HubSpot pipelines, and guide teaming arrangements from NDA to signature. A strong writing skill and security mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years experience supporting federal business development, capture or proposals.
• Hands-on experience with federal solicitations, including DoD proposals under SBIR/STTR, CSO, OTA or BAA.
• Shipley training, or working knowledge of the Shipley process; APMP Foundation certification counts.
• US citizenship and the ability to obtain and keep a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Find and screen opportunities via SAM.gov, DSIP, OTA consortium notices, Tradewinds and agency forecasts, and send a weekly digest of what\'s worth a look.
• Research the customer: pull award history, incumbents, competitors and budget lines, and summarize each target on one page.
• Keep the pipeline accurate: maintain every opportunity in HubSpot with stage, value and dates for forecasting.
• Track partners: maintain a running list of teaming partners and move NDAs and teaming agreements through review to signature.
• Set up each pursuit in our capture workflow, guide gate reviews and keep the schedule on track.
