Job summary

Lydian Energy, a North American solar and storage developer, seeks a Senior Director of Capital Markets to drive structuring, execution and management of project and corporate financings.

Reporting to the VP of Capital Markets, you will originate, evaluate, and close diverse financing transactions, working with Development, M&A, Construction, Asset Management, Accounting, Legal, and Executive teams to maximize value.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in U.S. renewable energy project finance or related capital markets roles.
• Proven experience leading execution of complex financings, tax equity transactions, portfolios, and M&A.
• Strong network across banks, tax equity investors, infrastructure funds, and financing participants.
• Executive-level presentation and communication skills with senior lenders, investors, and management teams.
• Fluency in project development, interconnection, offtake contracts, and power marketing.

Responsibilities

• Support the VP of Capital Markets in developing and executing financing strategy.
• Lead financing initiatives across debt, tax equity, transferability, and corporate capital solutions.
• Manage external advisors, lenders, investors, consultants, and legal counsel through transactions.
• Develop senior relationships with banks, investors, and financing partners.
• Represent the company in meetings, conferences, and strategic discussions.
• Mentor junior Capital Markets and Finance team members.
