Job summary

Qualifications

• Procurement experience supporting capital construction projects for drug product manufacturing.
• Shared services center knowledge with Procure to Pay cycle experience.
• Experience collaborating with contracting, legal, finance, engineering, and operations.
• Strong knowledge of procurement systems (e.g., Ariba, Scout, Salesforce).
• 4–6 years’ experience working remotely and onsite with partners and suppliers.
• Proficiency in procurement processes and leadership in negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Lead vendor contract negotiations and MSAs, OTAs, and SOWs through eMarketplace Contracting.
• Oversee procurement of capital equipment and construction; negotiate terms and discounts.
• Supervise and mentor a team of four capital equipment buyers.
• Coordinate fully negotiated package recommendations for approvals and PO creation.
• Manage supplier relationships, RFIs/RFPs/RFQs, and risk management.
• Deliver weekly/monthly project updates with internal and external partners.
• Project-manage IPT equipment procurement, delivery, and installation.
• Facilitate and negotiate project contracts for procurement, engineering & C&Q.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to drive project success.
• Escalate procurement issues and maintain project momentum with vendors.
• Identify and report procurement cost savings and customs duty savings.
