Job summary

CRB seeks a Project Procurement Manager in the United States to lead end-to-end procurement for complex projects in life sciences and food & beverage sectors. You will partner with PM, Engineering, Construction, Quality, and Finance to source equipment, materials, and subcontracted services, ensuring schedule, budget, and risk objectives are met.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor’s in a relevant field and 10+ years in procurement, with preference for pharma/biotech or F&B experience and ERP/MS

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in specified field required.
10 years in procurement of capital equipment and/or subcontracting services in an EPCM environment preferred.
7+ years in Pharma/Bio or Food & Beverage industries preferred.
Experience leading sourcing initiatives for complex, custom equipment packages (contracts > $10MM) and negotiating terms.
End-to-end sourcing management including resource planning, schedule and cost tracking, supplier management, and procurement team management.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the Project Procurement Plan (strategy, bid packages, schedule, risk items, long-lead tracking).
Set up accurate procurement financials in ERP and maintain project resource plan.
Lead end-to-end procurement for equipment, materials, and subcontracted services; conduct bid tabs and commercial evaluations; negotiate terms.
Mentor project team members and provide training.
Coordinate procurement activities with PM, Engineering, Construction, Quality, Safety, and Finance to meet scope, schedule, and budget.
Manage procurement-related changes, claims support, and closeout documentation.
Ensure compliance with insurance, bonding, safety, quality, tax, and legal terms; review with stakeholders.
Review invoices and pay applications for contract compliance and milestones.
Maintain complete procurement files and documentation per requirements.
Provide procurement status reporting and market intelligence for estimating.
Drive procurement closeout, warranty turnover, and lessons learned.
Support continuous improvement of procurement processes, templates, and supplier performance metrics.
Interact with project clients through meetings, reports, and escalations.
