Job summary

HireHawk is seeking a full-time contractor video editor to turn 20-minute conversations into polished short-form content for Instagram and Facebook. You will work directly with the founder, delivering 3-4 videos per day while maintaining each client's voice and branding. Strong CapCut skills and a portfolio in talking-head or founder content are essential.

The role requires Monday–Friday CT hours, a remote setup, and independent problem-solving to move projects forward with minimal direction.

Qualifications

• Portfolio including Instagram Reels and talking-head content.
• 3–5 years editing experience; 2+ years social content preferred.
• Proficiency in CapCut with captions, pacing, framing, and basic audio cleanup.

Responsibilities

• Turn conversational footage into focused short-form stories with hooks and structure.
• Identify strongest moments using the founder's messaging guidance.
• Preserve client voice while removing repetition, tangents, and distractions.
• Add captions, framing, B-roll, punch-ins and supporting visuals as needed to improve clarity.
• Deliver clean audio and polished, platform-ready videos with subtitles and flow.
