Job summary

HireHawk Inc. is seeking a remote full-time video editor to shape short-form content for Instagram and Facebook. You’ll turn roughly 20-minute conversations into polished clips, preserving voice and messaging while adding captions, framing, and selective B-roll.

Work directly with the founder, manage 4–6 clients, deliver 3–4 videos per day, Monday–Friday CT hours, and grow independence as you learn preferences. A strong portfolio and CapCut expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have strong CapCut editing skills and a solid portfolio.
• 3–5 years editing experience, ideally in social content.
• Ability to preserve client voice and messaging while editing.

Responsibilities

• Turn conversational footage into focused short-form stories with hooks.
• Identify best moments and build a complete narrative without step-by-step edits.
• Preserve client voice and remove repetition and distractions.
• Add captions, framing, B‑roll, punch-ins, and supportive visuals when helpful.
• Deliver platform-ready videos with clean audio and subtitles.
• Maintain 3–4 videos/day across 4–6 clients and organize revisions.
• Adapt editing style to each client and take initiative on next steps.
