Job summary

DLH seeks a CANES SME Curriculum Developer (Engineering Technician IV) to transform CANES fleet updates into Navy training products. You will craft courseware, labs, and lesson plans for widespread instructor use across the Navy.

Remote US-based role requiring shipboard network expertise, DoD cybersecurity readiness within 9 months, and TS/SCI clearance. Apply ISD processes with CPM/LOM and AIM tooling to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years supporting TACNET, CANES, ISNS/COMPOSE or similar C4I systems.
• Associate degree or equivalent electronics/engineering training.
• DoD 8570/8140 cybersecurity qualification within 9 months of hire date.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Ability to translate system updates into training content.
• Experience designing, developing, testing, and documenting engineering systems.

Responsibilities

• Review system updates and configuration changes to ensure curriculum aligns with CANES fleet baseline.
• Develop, update, and maintain CANES and C4I courseware, lesson plans, student guides, presentations, and labs.
• Apply Instructional System Design to define requirements and learning objectives.
• Use Navy tools (CPM/LOM, AIM) to develop and manage curriculum.
• Ensure materials reflect real-world system administration and fleet standards.
• Support pilot courses and fleet training events.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and incorporate feedback.
