Job summary

DLH Corp is seeking a CANES SME Curriculum Developer to transform system updates and fleet requirements into practical training at Naval Station Norfolk. You will develop CANES/C4I courseware, lesson plans, student guides, and labs, aligning with the latest CANES baseline.

The role requires shipboard network expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to translate real-world system administration experience into effective training for Navy personnel.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience supporting Navy systems such as TACNET, CANES, ISNS/COMPOSE or other C4I systems.
• Formal education in engineering/tech or equivalent military electronics training.
• Five to seven years of professional engineering technician experience depending on education level.

Responsibilities

• Review system updates and configuration changes to keep CANES curriculum aligned with fleet baselines.
• Develop, update, and maintain CANES and C4I courseware, lesson plans, guides, and labs.
• Apply Instructional System Design processes to define learning objectives.
• Use Navy authoring tools (CPM/LOM, AIM) to develop curriculum.
• Ensure training materials reflect real-world system administration and fleet standards.
• Support pilot courses and fleet training events.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and incorporate feedback for accuracy.
