Job summary

GitLab is seeking a Candidate Experience Specialist to shape how candidates experience our all-remote hiring process, from first touch through offer handoff. You’ll partner with Recruiters and People Operations to ensure timely, consistent communication and a high-quality experience across a high-volume slate of roles.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting end-to-end hiring in fast-paced or high-volume environments.
• Familiarity with an applicant tracking system to schedule and track candidates through stages (Greenhouse is a plus).
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and scheduling tools; capable of learning new tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Recruiters, hiring teams, and leadership to understand and execute the hiring plan for each job requisition.
• Coordinate with Recruiters to maintain accurate hiring information in ATS and GitLab repositories.
• Manage candidate scheduling and organize interviews for smooth hiring processes.
• Ensure timely, thoughtful, and engaging candidate communications at each stage.
• Help manage candidate traffic, monitor pipelines, and flag bottlenecks to the recruiting team.
• Create and stage employment contracts for offers.
• Partner with People Operations for seamless onboarding handoffs.
• Promote GitLab’s values and all-remote culture in every interaction.
