Job summary

NMS is seeking a Remote Janitor to provide cleaning and related duties across remote camp facilities, including Milne Point Camp on the North Slope. The role operates on a 2-week on/2-week off rotation with the point of hire origin in Anchorage, AK.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors, dusting surfaces, waste disposal, light maintenance, and ensuring safety and sanitation standards are met in food service areas, offices, and living spaces.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least one year experience with commercial cleaning equipment.
• At least one year experience in commercial housekeeping.
• Must pass pre-employment testing including drug test, physical and fit for duty assessment.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, sweeps, vacuums, mops, or restocks hallways, offices, kitchens, or restrooms.
• Operates cleaning equipment and uses appropriate solutions.
• Removes and disposes of trash and maintains sanitation standards.
• May perform light maintenance and snow removal at entryways.
• Notify supervisor if safety and sanitation standards are not met.
