Job summary

NMS is seeking a dedicated Janitor to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment across client facilities and remote camp operations in Anchorage, AK. You will perform custodial tasks, light maintenance, and help ensure regulatory compliance while delivering excellent service.

Responsibilities include cleaning, restocking, and operating cleaning equipment, with emphasis on safety, detail, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of offices, restrooms, dormitories, kitchens, and common areas.
• Operate cleaning equipment (vacuum, floor scrubbers) safely and follow SDS and safety policies.
• Restock supplies and ensure facilities remain stocked during shifts.
• Report maintenance concerns and safety issues to supervision in a timely manner.
• Provide courteous customer service to clients, guests, and staff.
