Shaw Industries is seeking a CAM – Technical Support Representative to apply expertise in cleaning and maintenance of both commercial and residential flooring. This remote role is based in Colorado or Texas and requires 60–80% travel to job sites during the week.

You will support sales with training, provide technical support to the professional carpet/floor cleaning industry, and help develop technical literature and maintenance videos.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of commercial and residential cleaning and maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and chemicals used in Shaw products.
• Excellent public speaking, teaching, and training abilities.
• Willingness to travel 60–80% to job sites during the week.

Responsabilités

• Provide industry-leading expertise in cleaning and maintenance of flooring products.
• Support sales representatives with training, projects, and product performance.
• Provide technical support and training to the professional carpet/floor cleaning industry.
• Provide cleaning and maintenance training for new-hire sales representatives.
• Attend trade shows as a technical resource, offering demonstrations and guidance.
• Inspect field project situations, analyze problems, and propose corrective actions.
• Turn field situations into training opportunities for future issues.
• Discuss cleaning techniques in detail and defend opinions in writing.
• Develop technical literature relating to Shaw maintenance and warranty processes.
• Conduct cleaning studies and evaluate cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Plan and conduct cleaning trials.
