Job summary

The American Red Cross in Phoenix is seeking part-time Call Center Service Agents to contact blood donors, schedule appointments, and provide excellent service in a fast-paced environment. You will follow scripts, maintain donor records, and work flexible late afternoon/evening shifts from Tuesday to Saturday, with a remote option while residing near Tucson.

This role offers competitive pay of $16 per hour plus shift differential and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must commit to 90 days of uninterrupted employment.
• Must commit to one of the schedules above.
• High school diploma or equivalent required (GED).
• Minimum one year of related experience (telemarketing, customer service or call center) is required.

Responsibilities

• Contact blood donors by telephone using a dialer system to recruit for blood donation and update donor records.
• Schedule appointments while providing a positive service experience to maximize donor show rates.
• Follow scripting to ensure a consistent donor experience.
• Maintain daily production standards for calls and appointments.
• Maintain donor records to avoid errors and ensure donor availability.
• May develop new leads and coordinate donor recruitment programs.
• Respond to or transfer inbound calls as needed.
• May coordinate support of community donor groups to project a positive image of the ARC.
