Job summary

Airbus Aerosystems Kinston, Inc. is seeking a Calibration Coordinator to join the facility management and real estate team in Kinston, NC. You will manage calibration cycles, track tooling, and coordinate with vendors to ensure compliance and timely certification.

The role requires 2+ years in tool shop management or related fields, strong data skills (Gauge Suite, Excel, SAP), and good communication in English. Onsite role with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within Airbus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in tool shop management, tracking databases, inventory logistics, calibration coordination, or quality control in production.
• Proficient with Gauge Suite and Excel; familiarity with SAP is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, data integrity and records management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain master calibration tracking spreadsheet from Gauge Suite and share with production stakeholders.
• Update active gauge tracking daily and report missing tools per Lost Tool workflow.
• Coordinate weekly calibration cycle; pack/manifest tooling and verify inventory against vendor docs.
• Audit calibration certificates from third-party vendors for aerospace standards.
• Coordinate with off-site vendors and manage PO creation in STS system.
• Ensure NDI gauges include Calibration Requirements Forms when requesting quotes.
• Keep software records updated with tool ownership transfers and lifecycle notes.
• Support readiness for internal/external facility quality audits.
