Job summary

EXACTA, dba LANDMARK is seeking a CAD Drafter/Survey Calculations Technician to join our team. This remote-friendly role supports residential construction staking, including houses, additions, and subdivisions across time zones in the Eastern and Central regions.

Responsibilities include performing calculations, drafting, and reviewing staking drawings, with training provided on workflows and client requirements. A strong eye for detail and multi-project management are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret site plans and plats.
• 4+ years of drafting experience in surveying.
• Proficient with Civil 3D and surveying software.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Review foundation closures including square, rotation, and setbacks.
• Add interior walls to slabs per staking requests.
• Prepare drawings for P&D stakings from scratch when no plot plan exists.
• Create master staking drawings for new subdivisions and compare plats with CAD files.
• Prepare and distribute dirt quantity calculations.
• Prepare closing as-builts for Rockford and learn the Rockford process.
