Job summary

Exacta Land Surveyors LLC seeks a CAD/Survey Calculations Technician to join our team. The role covers preparing and reviewing calculations and staking drawings for residential construction, including houses, additions, subdivisions, dirt work, and as-built surveys.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional drafting experience in the surveying industry.
• Experience with CAD drafting and/or surveying calculations.
• Proficient in Civil 3D and survey workflows.
• Ability to read site plans and plats.

Responsibilities

• Review foundation closures and setbacks for residential projects.
• Prepare staking drawings for P&D projects from scratch.
• Create master staking drawings for new subdivisions and verify plats.
• Create two surfaces for dirt quantity calculations and distribute results.
• Prepare closing as-builts and follow Rockford workflow when needed.
