Job summary

Navarro Research and Engineering is seeking a Drafter to prepare complex drawings and create 2D/3D models using Creo and AutoCAD. The role supports INL projects, with a remote work arrangement and periodic onsite reports to Idaho Falls, ID, under a 4x10 schedule.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree or CAD certificate and at least seven years of drafting experience, including lead or mentoring responsibilities, and strong GD&T knowledge.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or CAD certificate with a minimum of seven years of relevant drafting experience.
• Minimum three years of experience using Creo software.
• Experience mentoring drafters or leading drafting activities and reviewing work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software.
• Apply GD&T and ASME Y14.5 standards in drawings.
• Mentor less experienced drafters and perform quality checks on deliverables.
• Coordinate with design engineers on parts, assemblies, and installation requirements.
• Support field documentation and as-built drawing development.
• Report progress to project management and line management.
