Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a detail-oriented CAD Drafter to create and modify drawings per specifications and customer requirements. You will maintain catalog drawings and digital libraries for the website, collaborating with Engineering, Sales, Production and Quality Control to ensure compliance with latest drawings.

The role is remote with travel to an Oldcastle Infrastructure facility; candidates must live within a drivable distance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with AutoCAD/Autodesk Inventor.
• Ability to read and interpret sketches, construction, and civil plans.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic math.
• Detail oriented with multi-project management.

Responsibilities

• Create Shop Drawings of products using 2D or 3D drafting.
• Create special manufacturing drawings for immediate production.
• Adhere to internal and external volumes, timelines and expectations.
• Prepare, modify, and maintain catalog drawings for production and QC.
• Prepare product assembly or shop drawings for sales staff and plant projects.
• Update digital database (Autodesk Vault, cloud server, hard copies).
• Other duties as assigned.
