Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH Company, is seeking a CAD Technician to prepare and modify drawings per specifications and maintain the catalog drawings for the website. The role requires close collaboration with the Division Engineer, Sales, Production and Quality Control to ensure products are built per the latest shop drawings.

The position is remote with some travel to an Oldcastle Infrastructure facility. The candidate must live within driving distance to a location.

Qualifications

5+ years of AutoCAD/Autodesk Inventor experience.
Ability to read and interpret sketches, construction, and civil plans.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Create Shop Drawings of products using 2D or 3D drafting.
Create special manufacturing drawings for immediate production.
Adhere to customer (Internal and External) volumes, timelines and expectations.
Prepare, modify, and maintain accurate catalog drawings from existing and new products for production and Quality Control.
Prepare product assembly or shop drawings for existing/new products as needed for sales staff and plant projects.
Update/maintain digital database, e.g. Autodesk vault, cloud server, hard-copies and engineering documents.
Other duties may be assigned as needed.
