Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH Company, is seeking a CAD drafter to prepare and modify drawings per specifications and customer requirements. You will maintain catalog drawings and digital libraries for the website, and collaborate with Division Engineer, Sales, Production and Quality Control to ensure products meet the latest drawings.

The role is remote with some travel to an Oldcastle facility; candidate must live within driving distance.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience with AutoCAD/Autodesk Inventor
Ability to read and interpret sketches, construction, and civil plans
Ability to review and understand contract drawings and specifications
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Must be detail oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Responsibilities

Create Shop Drawings of products using 2D or 3D drafting
Create special manufacturing drawings for immediate production
Adhere to customer (Internal and External) volumes, timelines and expectations
Prepare, modify, and maintain accurate catalog drawings for production and Quality Control
Prepare product assembly or shop drawings for sales staff and plant projects as needed
Update/maintain digital database (Autodesk Vault, cloud, hard copies) and engineering documents
Other duties may be assigned as needed
