Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking an experienced CAD Drafter to prepare and modify drawings per specifications and customer requirements. You will maintain a digital catalog and collaborate with Engineering, Sales, Production and Quality Control to ensure compliance with the latest drawings.

The role is remote with some travel to an Oldcastle Infrastructure facility; candidate must live within driving distance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience reading and interpreting sketches, construction, and civil plans.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Create Shop Drawings of products using 2D or 3D drafting
• Create special manufacturing drawings for immediate production
• Adhere to customer volumes, timelines and expectations
• Prepare, modify, and maintain catalog drawings for production and Quality Control
• Prepare assembly or shop drawings for sales staff and plant projects
• Update/maintain digital database (Autodesk Vault, cloud server, etc.)
• Other duties as assigned
