Job summary

Chicanos Por La Causa is seeking a CACFP Outreach representative to support the CACFP program. This is a work-from-home position with travel across the NM region, including Las Vegas, Raton, Taos and Mora, to verify that providers meet USDA guidelines and assist with reimbursement claims.

The ideal candidate has experience with government food programs or childcare/home care providers, strong customer service and communication skills, and the ability to work independently while following safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and two years of general office procedures and customer service.
• Social services or accounting background is a plus.
• Bilingual a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct home visits to ensure providers meet USDA food program regulations.
• Recruit home childcare providers to establish monthly reimbursement claims.
• Ensure home providers meet USDA requirements.
