Job summary

Chicanos Por La Causa, Inc. seeks a dedicated CACFP Coordinator to oversee food services for Migrant Head Start programs, ensuring accurate CACFP claims and compliance.

You will support staff, manage data, and assist in training while coordinating with Nutrition and Child Development teams across regions. This role emphasizes bilingual communication and adherence to Head Start standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 2+ years of related data entry or accounting experience.
• Associate’s degree in health, nutrition, or related field preferred.
• Experience with accounting systems, ledgers, budgets; proficient in Word and Excel.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred to communicate with clients and stakeholders.
• Pre-employment screenings and credential checks are required; driving may be required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee CACFP documentation and ensure accuracy and compliance across centers.
• Maintain CACFP records using Head Start recordkeeping system and manage a caseload of centers.
• Assist with CACFP monitoring visits and report issues to Nutrition Manager.
• Collaborate with staff on data entry, documentation, training; translate communications as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to health, safety, and licensing requirements.
