Qualifications

• California workers' compensation claims experience required.
• SIP certification preferred or required depending on client assignment and state of residence.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; professional certification as applicable to line of business.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and process complex California workers' compensation claims to determine exposure and benefits.
• Manage claims through action plans up to timely resolution.
• Negotiate settlements within designated authority.
• Calculate reserves and ensure accuracy throughout the life of the claim.
• Prepare state filings within statutory limits and support litigation where needed.
