Job summary

CCMSI is seeking a proactive Workers' Compensation Claim Specialist in Irvine, CA with a dedicated single account focus. You will lead investigations, determine compensability, and drive cases to timely resolution, building strong client relationships and deep knowledge of the client’s operations.

This role offers growth toward supervisory opportunities and requires keen analytical and negotiation skills to deliver high-quality service for injured workers and clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of California Workers’ Compensation claims handling experience, including full investigation, evaluation and resolution.
• CA adjusters license and SIP certification required.
• Experience handling litigated and lost-time claims.
• Willingness to travel once per year.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate and adjust claims in accordance with standards and applicable laws.
• Review, approve and oversee medical, legal invoices and other external services; negotiate disputed bills.
• Authorize and issue claim payments and settlements within authority.
• Maintain claim diaries and monitor subrogation opportunities.
• Communicate with clients, claimants and stakeholders while ensuring compliance with standards.
