With 5–10 years of experience, you will drive claims investigations, compensability decisions, and timely resolutions while delivering superior client service. The role offers a salary of $60,000–$80,000, a remote reporting arrangement, and a schedule from 8:00am to 4:30pm (PST).

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of California Workers’ Compensation claims management experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• California Adjuster’s license is required — SIP is required
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing

Responsibilities

• Investigate and adjust workers compensation claims according to CCMSI guidelines.
• Perform TD/PD/AWW calculations for indemnity payments.
• Review and negotiate medical/legal invoices; authorize and pay claims.
• Negotiate settlements with claimants/attorneys within authority.
• Assist in selection and supervision of defense attorneys.
• Assess and monitor subrogation claims for resolution.
• Prepare reports detailing claims, payments and reserves.
• Deliver quality claim service to clients.
