Job summary

Confidential is a behavioral health network seeking a California-licensed PMHNP to join as an independent contractor. You will conduct psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning, including medication management, in a telehealth-friendly setting.

We handle credentialing, billing, and marketing so you can focus on patient care. You set your own schedule and determine how many patients to see, with prompt payments and HIPAA-compliant systems.

Qualifications

• An unrestricted license and valid DEA number registered in California.
• 1+ years as a PMHNP with experience in mental health assessment, diagnosis, triage, managing psychiatric meds and treatment plans, and crisis management.
• Independent licensure and/or working with collaborating MD, as required by state law.
• PMHNP Certification by ANCC.
• Registration with state Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP).
• No suspension/exclusion/debarment from federal programs (Medicare, Medicaid, SCHIP).
• No adverse actions by nursing boards or credentialing bodies in the past 3 years.
• Master's or doctoral degree in psychiatric mental health nursing from an accredited program.
• Ability to provide telehealth.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessments for mental health patients, including diagnostic assessments, workups, and treatment planning with medication management.
• Work with individuals facing mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction.
• Have access to our EHR & telehealth platform.
• Receive support from our Care Coordination teams.
• Allow sufficient time for patient engagement—half-hour follow-ups and 1 hour for initial consultations.
• Rula handles credentialing, billing, and marketing so you can focus on patient care.
