Job summary

Confidential is seeking a California-licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join as an independent contractor. You will provide clinical assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning via telehealth across a diverse patient network.

Admin tasks are handled by Rula, letting you focus on patient care. This role requires an active CA license, ANCC PMHNP certification, and PMP registration, with flexible scheduling and no minimum client requirements.

Qualifications

Unrestricted California license with valid DEA number.
1+ year PMHNP experience with mental health assessment and crisis management.
Independent licensure or collaboration with a physician as required by state law.
ANCC PMHNP certification.
Registered with state PMP.
No suspensions/debarments in federal programs in last 3 years.
No adverse actions by nursing boards or credentialing bodies in last 3 years.
Master's or Doctoral degree in PMH nursing from an accredited program.
Ability to provide telehealth.

Responsibilities

Provide diagnostic assessments, psychiatric workups, and treatment planning including medication management.
Work with patients dealing with mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction.
Utilize our EHR and telehealth platform.
Receive support from our care coordination teams.
Allow sufficient time for patient interactions: 1 hour initial, 30 minutes follow-up.
