Job summary

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a C# Developer - II for a fully remote, U.S.-based role in the Veterans Affairs department. This is a full-time position with citizenship required and Public Trust clearance expectations.

Responsibilities include full-stack development with .NET/C#, RESTful APIs, and CI/CD. The candidate will work in an Agile environment, contribute to design, review code, and mentor junior developers while ensuring secure, scalable software solutions.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of software development with .NET technologies.
• Experience designing, developing and deploying enterprise apps.
• Strong C# and .NET knowledge with MVC architecture.
• Proficient in RESTful APIs and database design (SQL Server).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and IaC concepts.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
• Ability to mentor junior developers and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform planning, requirements definition, test planning and execution.
• Develop full-stack .NET back-end applications in C#; unit test and CI/CD deployment.
• Collaborate within an Agile team and participate in daily stand-ups.
• Ensure performance, quality and responsiveness of applications.
• Interface with stakeholders and document software designs.
