Job summary

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) seeks a C# Developer - II for a 100% remote, U.S.-based role. The candidate will join the Veterans Affairs department, contribute to enterprise-level .NET applications, and leverage MVC architecture, RESTful APIs, and cloud services. Strong unit testing, CI/CD, and collaboration with stakeholders are required.

Required are 5+ years in .NET, expertise in C#, and experience with Azure/AWS, SQL Server, and DevOps tools. U.S.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of software development using .NET technologies
• Experience with enterprise-level applications
• Strong knowledge of MVC architecture and RESTful APIs

Responsibilities

• Perform technical planning, requirements definition, test planning and execution for software systems
• Develop back-end services using C# and .NET Core; implement CI/CD pipelines
• Participate in daily stand-ups as part of an Agile team
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine project requirements and ensure quality
• Document software designs and architectures (diagrams, data flows)
• Use IDEs such as Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, and Git for development and version control
• Mentor junior developers and provide code reviews and guidance
