Job summary

Valenz Group is seeking a Business Systems Analyst II to bridge business and technology, translating needs into effective technology and process solutions. You’ll analyze processes, systems, and requirements to identify opportunities for improvement and support data-driven decision making.

This fully remote US-based role collaborates across departments, leads requirements analysis, creates BRDs, and drives process improvements while mentoring entry-level analysts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Business Systems Analyst or similar analytical/technical role.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum, backlog management and prioritization.
• Experience in quality assurance and delivering BRDs and process maps.
• Ability to present findings to stakeholders with influence and negotiation.
• Experience in data engineering or analytics environments is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, CS, IS, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Gather, interpret, and document business requirements and data discovery.
• Lead requirements analysis, data discovery, and process mapping for system enhancements.
• Define priorities with product managers and technical teams, support roadmap execution.
• Develop BRDs with process flows, gap analyses, and risk assessments.
• Serve as liaison among stakeholders, product management, and development teams.
• Conduct impact assessments and propose automation/data optimization ideas.
• Generate analytical reports to measure performance and guide decisions.
• Support project management with scope, milestones, and progress communication.
• Mentor junior analysts to share knowledge and ensure best practices.
