Summary

The Ash Group is hiring a Business Process Mapping Engineer for our client, a global leader providing advanced systems and support in defense, aerospace, and security. This is a 12-month contract working in Sterling Heights, MI (Onsite) offering a pay rate of $51 per hour based on skillset.

• Compensation: Up to $51/hr W2
• Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and direct primary care benefits. After six months of employment, enjoy a 4% matched 401(k) plan with immediate 100% vesting.
• Duration: 12-month contract
• Location: Sterling Heights, MI (Onsite)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Map business processes both within and across multiple cross-functional departments, including engineering, finance, manufacturing, and supply chain.
• Creating process maps and flowcharts to help visualize and understand the process, including activities, roles and responsibilities, data, and tool/software usage.
• Collaborating with various business units, stakeholders, and team members to gather process information and requirements
• Assessing existing business processes and driving process improvements by identifying areas for waste, redundancy, or lack of clarification.
• Designing efficient and effective business processes that meet the business needs and objectives
• Assist in the successful deployment of the process changes to the business, including communication, training, and after-deployment feedback.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a relevant equivalent field is a must
• Must have 6+ years of relevant experience:
• Experience with business process mapping and modeling
• Experience with hands‑on experience with process improvement projects
• Proven work experience as a Business Process Engineer or similar role
• Process gap identification and process flow optimization recommendation experience
• Proven experience mapping process to roles and responsibilities, to tools, to data flow
• Must have 3+ years of relevant experience using digitalization mapping tools such as Prime BPM
