Job summary

Mission Technologies, a division of HII, seeks a Business Operations Manager for the STINGRAI program to provide remote operational, administrative, and financial support to the Program Manager and cross-functional teams.

This role manages day-to-day business processes, coordinates resources, oversees financial reporting and subcontractor management, and liaises with accounting, legal, HR, and PSO to standardize program workflows.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years progressive experience with a Bachelor's in a related field; 6 years with a Master's in a related field; or a high school diploma with 12 years of related experience.
• At least 4 years’ experience with an AAS Defense multi-tenant government contact.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members at all levels.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills with a track record of risk management and timely judgments.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day management of administration and operational tasks under the direction of the STINGRAI Program Manager.
• Manage day-to-day internal business processes across functional departments.
• Assist in project coordination, logistics, recruiting, and procurement of resources.
• Serve as primary interface with corporate accounting, legal, and HR.
• Oversee financials, RIPs, TARs, invoicing, subcontractor management, and the STINGRAI Portal.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely involvement.
• Develop and disseminate SOPs, templates, and portal content for standardization.
• Interface with PSO to ensure subcontractor onboarding training and compliance.
• Lead matrixed teams in a distributed/remote environment.
