Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Business Operations Coordinator to oversee and optimize operations across nationwide solar, storage, and substation projects.

This remote role collaborates with service managers to coordinate tasks, monitor performance, and ensure timely, within-budget delivery. You will liaise with customers and management, document meetings, and drive process improvements while maintaining compliance with procedures.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with contracts and change orders.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Service Managers in day-to-day coordination and management of business operational activities.
• Monitor, control and manage business operations to meet client expectations and company goals.
• Liaise between customer and management to ensure smooth operations delivery.
• Coordinate and manage project tasks to ensure project delivery within budget and timelines.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and procedures.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular meetings and communications.
• Lead internal project meetings with stakeholders and document minutes.
• Schedule and participate in external project meetings and document project meetings.
• Manage multiple high-priority project issues to timely completion.
• Evaluate current operational performance and provide strategic improvements.
• Provide direction and guidance to internal teams to achieve performance targets.
• Identify problems in operations processes and resolve them promptly.
• Follow standard operating procedures for efficient business operations.
• Maintain clear operation documents and procedures for reference.
• Perform essential administrative duties
• Set up and maintain project filing system
• Prepare and document extra work orders.
• Notify subcontractors regarding change orders and follow up.
• Suggest improved processes, collaborate on new technologies, and coordinate with SOLV Energy management on implementation.
• Champion diversity and inclusion as part of SOLV Energy culture.
