Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to design, build, and maintain data models and analytic solutions that turn data into actionable insights within a fast-growing health services environment.

You will work with BI tools such as Tableau, QlikView/QlikSense, SAS, and Power BI, rely on SQL, Python or R, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data quality, validation, and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• BA/BS with focus on Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or Statistics, or equivalent work experience.
• 1 year of experience in Analytics, Data Modeling, or Business Intelligence preferred.
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Qlikview/QlikSense, SAS, Power BI or other BI software and/or data visualization programs.
• Knowledge with data analytic tools such as SQL, Python or R is preferred.
• Knowledge of data sources and database structures; programming in SQL, R, or Python.
• Experience with Excel or Google Sheets and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Use BI tools to create applications and data models for reporting needs.
• Develop reporting scripts that import data from various sources.
• Identify inter-departmental dependencies and downstream impacts of changes.
• Collaborate with users to validate effectiveness and conduct user testing.
• Adapt to changing reporting requirements and new BI tools.
• Ensure data integrity through ongoing validation and collaboration with team.
