Job summary

The American Camp Association is seeking a full-time, remote Business Development Specialist to support the development team. The role focuses on customer service, member engagement, and revenue growth through memberships, exhibitions, and sponsorships.

You will coordinate applications, renewals, invoicing, and payments with the processing team, maintain member relationships, and assist with National Conference preparations and on-site operations. Travel annually to events is required.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
• Minimum of three years in customer service, admin support, business development, membership, event coordination, sales support, or related environment.
• CRM and database experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel annually to the ACA National Conference and other business needs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and business writing.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to Business Members, exhibitors, sponsors, advertisers, prospective customers, and internal teams.
• Support Business Membership revenue growth through sales outreach, follow-up, relationship building, renewals, and retention efforts.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of Business Membership benefits, pricing, and opportunities to communicate value to members.
• Coordinate and prepare Business Membership applications, renewals, invoicing, and payments with processing team.
• Maintain and strengthen Business Member relationships and identify opportunities to improve the member experience.
