Job summary

Nucor Skyline is seeking a Business Development representative to educate clients on product capabilities, identify optimal steel foundation solutions, and grow the Southeast market. The role can be remote or in Rock Hill, SC, with at least 25% travel and a focus on building long-term customer relationships.

You will partner with customers, leverage CRM (Salesforce), and participate in industry events to promote growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or business.
• F.E./P.E. license or ability to obtain license in due time.
• Experience in heavy civil construction project management.
• Experience in the steel manufacturing industry.
• Must be able to travel at least 25% (local and overnight).

Responsibilities

• Educate clients on Nucor Skyline product capabilities and determine optimal steel foundation solutions.
• Prospect and maintain relationships with customers, agencies and consultants in the territory.
• Partner with customers with in-house engineering to grow cross-team relationships.
• Travel to meet customers and support engagement (minimum 25%).
• Utilize CRM (Salesforce) to track and maintain customer data.
• Represent the company in industry marketing, conferences and events.
• Identify and develop strategic growth opportunities for the market.
• Develop and execute initiatives to promote Nucor Skyline in growth markets.
