Job summary

Emergency Restoration Xperts (ERX) in Charlotte, NC seeks a Business Development Manager to generate new business by building relationships with commercial clients through inside and outside sales, networking, and trade associations. The role emphasizes lead generation, social media, and ongoing partner relations.

You will nurture existing accounts, locate and present ERX restoration and construction services to new prospects, and support sales efforts with follow-ups on leads and estimates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field.
• 3+ years outside sales experience required, within restoration or construction industry preferred.
• Must be able to attend networking functions 2-4 evenings a week.
• Experience inputting and tracking sales data in a CRM system; intermediate MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Nurture and expand existing business relationships to increase lead generation and sales revenue.
• Locate, present to, and sell ERX restoration and construction services to new and prospective clients.
• Maintain membership and involvement in targeted associations and pursue leadership positions.
• Support all ERX Sales efforts by following up on leads and pending estimates.
• Prepare and present sales proposals and ERX MSA program.
• Achieve 100 commercial contacts per week with clients and prospects via meetings, events, phone, social media, email, etc.
• Document and track leads and business development activities in the CRM.
