Nearby.ai is a home services platform connecting homeowners with trusted local providers. We’re seeking a motivated intern to expand our merchant network through outreach and partnership development.

You will research local businesses, contact merchants via multiple channels, and help build a robust pipeline using CRM tools. Flexible schedule and potential to convert to a full-time role based on performance.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills — comfortable with cold outreach.
• Self-starter who can work independently and manage their own schedule.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple conversations at once.

Responsibilities

• Research and identify local home service businesses as potential partners.
• Reach out to local merchants via phone, email, in-person visits, and social media to onboard them onto our platform.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective partners using CRM tools or spreadsheets.
• Assist in crafting outreach scripts, pitch decks, and partnership proposals.
• Collect merchant feedback to help the team improve our value proposition and onboarding process.
• Track outreach metrics (contacts made, response rates, conversion rates) and report weekly progress.
