Job summary

LT Selection is partnering with a specialist training provider to recruit aBusiness Development Manager to grow employer partnerships in apprenticeships and commercial training.

The role is remote with some travel, offering a salary up to £45,000 per year. Start is planned for January/February 2027, with a full-time pattern and clear targets for apprenticeship starts and commercial income.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in business development, employer engagement or training sales.
• Experience in winning business and developing lasting client relationships.
• Experience in apprenticeship recruitment or commercial training is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage prospective employers through outreach, referrals and meetings.
• Understand workforce priorities and propose relevant training solutions.
• Coordinate with curriculum and compliance to confirm eligibility and route.
• Develop existing accounts and pursue repeat business and wider engagement.
• Manage proposals, negotiations and training plans through to enrolment.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, pipelines and forecasts.
• Work toward agreed apprenticeship-start and commercial-income targets.
