Piper Companies is seeking a Business Analyst to support enterprise customer portal and software integration initiatives. This 12-month contract role is remote (EST hours) and requires strong requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement.

• 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst on software/web/integration projects.
• Experience gathering and documenting requirements including BRDs and specifications.
• Strong collaboration with business stakeholders, end users, and technical teams.
• Experience with process mapping, workflow analysis, use cases, and requirements management.
• Experience supporting UAT planning, execution, and defect management.
• Experience with customer portal implementations or modernization projects is a plus.
• Experience with software integrations and enterprise application environments is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead requirements elicitation activities through interviews, workshops, surveys, observation sessions, and document analysis.
• Create and maintain BRDs, use cases, user stories, and functional documentation.
• Partner with business stakeholders and SMEs to gather, analyze, validate, and prioritize requirements.
• Develop process maps and workflow documentation to identify opportunities for improvement and support solution design.
• Coordinate and support user acceptance testing (UAT), test case creation, defect tracking, and validation activities.
• Create user documentation, training materials, and knowledge transfer resources to support end-user adoption.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to ensure successful project delivery and transition from legacy systems to new platforms.
