Job summary

Software Technology Inc in the United States is seeking a Business Analyst in the PPMO to support DOJ modernization initiatives by eliciting and clarifying business needs, documenting processes and requirements, and supporting testing and implementation.

You'll collaborate with program staff, senior analysts, technical teams, and vendors to transform stakeholder input into clear, actionable documentation that guides delivery, with some remote work possible depending on business needs.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting largescale modernization programs or enterprise initiatives.
• Project/change management and facilitation skills (workshops, consensus-building).
• Background working with relational or cloud-based data platforms; ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences.

Responsibilities

• Gather information via interviews, workshops, document reviews, and research; translate findings into process diagrams, user stories, business rules, and functional descriptions; help maintain requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Draft and maintain currentstate/futurestate process maps, SOPs, requirements summaries, and system documentation using approved templates and consistent terminology.
• Prepare UAT test cases, participate in execution, document results, and communicate findings for review and resolution.
• Contribute to end-user training materials and train-the-trainer sessions; observe workflow impacts, gather user feedback, and share insights to support adoption and continuous improvement.
• Other duties as assigned to support program objectives and timelines.
