Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in computer science, business, technology, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience as Business Analyst or Systems Analyst, preferably in logistics/brokerage/SaaS.
• Certifications in BA (CCBA/CBAP) or QA/Agile are assets.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document requirements with end users and stakeholders; produce clear, testable requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Model high-quality ticket documentation in JIRA with traceability from requirements to testing and deployment.
• Facilitate discovery sessions with clients and stakeholders to define the right problem and scope a solution.
• Lead QA activities: test strategies, test plans, test cases, UAT, and defect remediation.
• Create training materials and support end-user adoption post-implementation.
• Continuously learn Buckland's systems and the logistics domain; share knowledge across teams.
• Cross-train with other BAs; document reusable knowledge; mentor junior analysts.
• Apply SDLC principles and contribute to templates, standards, and playbooks.
• Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.
• Grow proficiency with AI tools in requirements, testing, and documentation.
