Job summary

Buckland is seeking a Business Analyst, Client Delivery to own requirements, testing, and documentation for client projects in a logistics context. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing across the BA practice.

The successful candidate will work with JIRA-based workflows, lead UAT, support end-user training, and explore automation and AI-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in computer science, business, technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst in logistics, brokerage, or SaaS environments.
• Certification in Business Analysis (CCBA/CBAP) is an asset; QA/Agile certifications are a plus.
• Experience writing formal requirements, test plans, and leading UAT.
• Hands-on knowledge of JIRA with requirements traceability and reporting.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools to improve quality or efficiency in analysis, documentation, or testing.
• Experience in Agile software development and collaboration with Product Owners, testers, and other stakeholders.
• Strong facilitation, problem solving, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Legally eligible to work; passport; travel to other offices CAD/USA/MEX if required.

Responsibilities

• Own requirements, testing, and documentation for client and business unit projects.
• Model and maintain high-quality ticket documentation in JIRA with traceability.
• Facilitate discovery and problem-understanding meetings with clients and stakeholders.
• Develop test strategies, plans, and cases; lead UAT and defect remediation.
• Create training materials and support end-user adoption post-implementation.
• Grow institutional knowledge and stay current with BA practices and AI tools.
• Cross-train with other BAs and mentor junior analysts.
• Apply SDLC principles and contribute to templates and playbooks.
• Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains.
