Job summary

Data Society Group is seeking a proactive Business Analyst to support a high-visibility construction industry project. You will gather and document client requirements, support technical specification, and ensure solutions align with contractual needs.

This role is remote with monthly commuting to Virginia as required. The position is a full-time W2 engagement ending May 2027 with potential conversion based on performance and client needs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar client-facing requirements engineering role within a boutique consulting firm or product environment with heavy client interaction.
• Proven ability to gather, document, and translate complex client needs into structured technical specifications.
• Strong client relationship management skills with direct point of contact for stakeholders.
• Experience working across multi-disciplinary workstreams (software/solutions implementation and workforce training).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills bridging business and technical execution.
• Ability to move with urgency in environments with ambiguous requirements.

Responsibilities

• Gather, document, and validate client requirements for the project; translate needs into clear specifications and analysis products.
• Serve as primary contact for client stakeholders and provide proactive status updates.
• Identify risks and issues early and drive timely resolution with the Program Manager.
• Ensure deliverables align with client specifications and maintain high quality.
