Job summary

Buckland is seeking a Business Analyst, Client Delivery to coordinate requirements, testing, and documentation across client and business unit projects of moderate complexity. You will own user stories, acceptance criteria, and ensure quality from requirements through deployment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with developers and end users, with a focus on AI-enabled analysis, training, and continual learning in a logistics domain. Remote work is available for non-local applicants.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in computer science, business, technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst, preferably in logistics, brokerage, or SaaS environments.
• Certification (or working towards) in Business Analysis is an asset; additional QA/testing or Agile certifications are a plus.
• Experience writing formal requirements, test plans, and test cases, and leading UAT activities.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA including traceability and reporting.
• Experience using AI tools to improve quality or efficiency in analysis, documentation, or testing.
• Experience in an Agile software development environment with cross-functional teams.
• Strong facilitation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements elicitation with end users and stakeholders, producing clear, testable requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Model high-quality ticket documentation in JIRA with traceability from requirements to deployment.
• Facilitate discovery sessions with clients and stakeholders to define the right problem before solutions.
• Develop test strategies, plans, and cases; lead UAT and defect remediation.
• Create training materials and support end-user training and adoption.
• Continuously learn Buckland's systems and domain to share knowledge across teams.
• Collaborate with other BAs and business areas to document reusable knowledge.
