The Commercial Services Group provides building envelope diagnostics with emphasis on moisture intrusion, masonry, and painting issues, and offers QA during remodels. This role can be remote or based in Pittsburgh, PA or Dobson, NC, with strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or specialized experience in architecture/building science/construction management/engineering.
• Strong understanding of commercial building maintenance and remodeling strategies and moisture intrusion causes.
• Experience with MS Office (Excel/Word), measurements, blueprint reading, and numerical tasks.
• AutoCAD and Bluebeam proficiency preferred.
• Professional engineering or architectural license ideal.
• Willingness to travel across the U.S. (30–50%).
• Desirable: RRO, AMPP coatings credentials, LEED credentials.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite building envelope consulting and diagnostic assessments, moisture intrusion surveys, failure investigations, coating condition assessments, and QA inspections.
• Coordinate with peers, external engineering firms, and building owners to determine root causes.
• Develop responsive proposals addressing building envelope and moisture intrusion needs.
• Prepare technical reports with scopes of work, specifications, and remediation recommendations.
• Coordinate inspection staff and review reports and client deliverables for accuracy.
• Manage projects to meet time, scope, and budget within company standards.
• Support and lead business development, including client relationships and proposal strategy.
